Merry Christmas Week!
We had an amazing first Christmas with Archie! He ate too much, got way too spoiled, and stayed up too late. Wouldn’t have it any other way.
The best sides were spinach rice and Mac and cheese. Give me all of the sides all the time.
My sisters and I did a quick crossfit workout in my parents barn. I was sweaty and ready to take on the rest of the day.
Do you always open present on Christmas Day? We do! We let the boys open one gift on Christmas eve but that was it.
Christmas day we actually got some of my sisters wedding planning done. Her wedding is in April and all I can say is I do not miss the long wedding to do lists. I still don’t have my bridesmaid dress ordered. Oopsie!
I took Tuesday off and thank goodness I did! Archie was pretty crabby on Christmas then he ended up being up all night. It is crazy how we get used to him sleeping through the night and then how miserable it is when he doesn’t. We knew something was up because he was really freaking out and would just sleep in our arms for 20 minutes at a time.
Tuesday morning, my sister and I went to a crossfit gym in Burlington. Archie was sleeping and I was okay leaving him with my mom. We maxed out on back squats to start which was not my cup of tea. If I would have known about this ahead of time I wouldn’t have showed up. Good thing I didn’t check online! I honestly thought that was all we were going to do for the workout but then we also had a whole WOD after that.

Luckily I was able to get into his pediatrician this afternoon. He has a ear infection on the right side. Womp Womp. Thank goodness we took him in! Hopefully after his antibotics kick in he will be back to normal. Poor baby.
