I hope you all had a great weekend! I had a ton of work to do around the house and it felt so good to get it done. I also looked at 10 houses with my sister in the Madison. Yes, she is moving to the Madison area and I am stoked. I love Chicago but driving there is not my favorite.
On Saturday morning I actually didn’t take a class and did the workout below. Have you ever tried the smith move? I ended my workout with 2 sets of those. I will try to lure someone to take a video of me next time I am at the gym. :-/
- Straight arm pulldown 3x 15
- Low row 3 x10
- Lat pull down 4×10
- Rope face pull 4×12
- Rear delt fly 3 x15
My goals for the year are to get into a routine with strength training. It is hard to leave the gym not drenched in sweat like I would if I had ran a few miles but I am hoping that these workouts help me burn more calories throughout the day.
I refueled after my workout with some Michelob, hummus, and a salad!

Since we are snowed in other than going to work lately, I made sure to do some meal prep. I put this salad in a huge container for the week. I am much more likely to reach for it if I see it as soon as I open the fridge. I gave Ryan a Michelob Ultra after he snow plowed the driveway. I always forget how great of a workout that is.
This weekend we literally have zero plans and it is kind of awesome. Starting in March we have the showers and bachelorette parties filling up the calendar so it will be nice to stay home!
What are you doing this weekend?
